Human or AI

Human or AI:

Chatbots with artificial intelligence (AI) technology can answer questions quickly and accurately. Beyond writing messages and articles, chatbots can perform various tasks according to user instructions. As a result, AI is now present in almost all fields. This widespread adoption has sparked global discussions about AI’s impact on socio-economic areas, particularly on jobs.

In a recent study by cybersecurity firm Kaspersky, 44 percent of chatbot users said AI could be a better manager than humans in the workplace. Additionally, 56 percent believe AI will significantly impact education through virtual experiences and the metaverse. Kaspersky shared this information in a press release on Sunday 3rd Sep-2024 around Bangladesh which discuss with Human or AI.

The study also revealed that 53 percent of participants view AI as an essential part of life today, while 51 percent believe AI will offer more advanced opportunities in the future. Moreover, 56 percent think AI is capable of creating reliable art in creative fields. Interestingly, 62 percent of respondents feel comfortable interacting with AI in social situations, and 37 percent use AI to find a life partner. However, 56 percent also believe that AI could change human interaction, linking virtual relationships with real ones.

“We are witnessing a growing acceptance of AI as an essential tool that is helping people in various areas,” said Vladislav Tushkanov, group manager of Kaspersky’s research and development department. He noted that AI is being used in education and the workplace beyond its applications in data processing and analysis. However, as this technology advances, it brings unexpected risks and threats, such as AI-powered phishing attacks, deepfakes, and identity theft. We must approach these challenges with awareness.

Human or AI- When considering who makes a better boss in the office—a human or AI—both have their strengths and limitations. A human boss brings emotional intelligence, empathy, and the ability to understand complex social dynamics, which are crucial for motivating and managing a team effectively. Humans can offer personalized mentorship and adapt to nuanced situations that require a deep understanding of context.

On the other hand, AI excels in consistency, data-driven decision-making, and eliminating biases that humans might unconsciously harbor. AI can process vast amounts of information quickly, ensuring decisions are based on the most up-to-date and accurate data. However, AI lacks the ability to understand emotions and may struggle with tasks requiring human intuition and empathy.

In summary of Human or AI-while AI can enhance decision-making processes with its data-centric approach, a human boss is generally better suited for managing the complex interpersonal relationships crucial to a healthy and productive office environment. Ideally, a combination of both human leadership and AI assistance could offer the best of both worlds.
